Mutch boosts squad with Hardiker addition

Andy Mutch continued his squad building by persuading the experienced John Hardiker to sign for the greens.

The 29 year old central defender, John was a product of the academy system at Morecambe where he made his debut at the age of 16. He moved to Stockport in 2002 for a six figure fee. After making over 100 appearances for Stockport he moved to Bury before returning to Morecambe.

John left Morecambe in 2006 and spent some time at Fleetwood before moving to Forest Green Rovers, he may be remembered by fans having scored twice in a 3-0 victory against the Vics .  John was club captain at Forest Green before returning North in 2009 to sign for Stalybridge, he left Stalybridge in 2010 to sign for Droylsden for an undisclosed fee.

In January 2012 John left Droylsden and signed for Radcliffe Borough.
