Statement from the Board of Stafford Rangers

It has been commonly known that Stafford Rangers made an arrangement with the league and Northwich Victoria FC, for the Evo-Stik Division One (South) League club, to be able to utilise the Marston Road Ground facilities for their home games for the 2012-13 season. A number of appeal attempts have been made by Mr Rushe of Northwich Victoria, to try and play their home games closer to Northwich. A final decision has still not been made and therefore we can confirm that the agreement & arrangement between the clubs, made earlier in the year, will stand.
The Board of Stafford Rangers can now confirm that Marston Road will play host to home league and cup games for Northwich Victoria FC (the first game being this Saturday against Stamford FC). We would like to confirm, as 'landlords', Stafford Rangers home games will of course take full priority, and the Northwich schedule will fit around our fixtures. On match days, official representatives & volunteers from Stafford Rangers FC will be present.
We can ensure that this business decision has been finalised with best interest of Stafford Rangers FC, and also to help a fellow club that has plenty of non league history. Every effort has been made to eliminate or reduce any impact on first team football or to the fans of Stafford Rangers FC.
We appreciate your patience in waiting for an update on this situation, but it was essential to ensure that we had received definitive plans from NVFC. We trust we can rely on your full support with this decision. No further statements will be made on this matter, and we would like to now concentrate on the season ahead for Stafford Rangers, which we are all looking forward to.
