NVFC Supporters Club would like to thank everyone who contributed to yesterdays successful 'Help for Heroes' event at the Gloucester game which resulted in a fantastic £218 being raised for the 'Help for Heroes' charity.
NVFC Juniors did a splendid job organizing and collecting the donations whilst a number of current and former servicemen and their guests enjoyed an executive suite hospitality day funded by the Supporters' Club.
Unfortunately due to current operations in Afghanistan a few more servicemen were not able to make the game however the Supporters Club were honored to welcome Tim 'Ben' Baker, Tony Rogers and Rob Hayes all of whom have been involved in Iraq or Afghanistan to the VS hospitality lounge.
The Supporters Club would like to make this event an annual occasion and hope that all those that attended yesterday had a day to remember.

Tour de Cheshire
Pictured above are the Tour de Cheshire proceeds being presented to Jim Rushe by organizer and Supporters Club member Ivan Crouchley. Many thanks to Ivan and team for organizing this very successful fundraiser which raised £1000 for the football club and £400 each for Russett Special School and St Lukes Hospice. A big thanks to everyone that sponsored the cyclists, and to Supporters Club members who donated £170 towards the event, it really was a fantastic effort by all involved.
